We have emerged from the pandemic but Covid is here to stay. According to the hhs.gov site, COVID is down 92 percent and deaths are down 80 percent. COVID is still contagious and may be a concern. The mental health toll that COVID has taken is large. While COVID is here, we have to learn how to care for ourselves and learn to live with COVID. It is my experience as a mental health therapist that Covid has a negative impact on mental health. COVID is draining and needs time to overcome When coping with COVID remember to rest. Welcome February 2023. At Towler Counseling, if you have been following us for January, we discuss setting and sticking with goals. February, I thought I would blog about setting goals for ourself and how to love ourselves even when we don’t meet theses goals. I have heard many of times “that’s easier said than done”. I get it. I have said theses words. I have been mad myself for not making a goal when I felt I should have. How can I give myself grace?
