Teens and Young adults on the effects of Vaping and Marijuana use.
The course will allow the teen and young adult to understand the affects and consequences of Marijuana and Vaping has on the body. The course is educational and explores the false information that society is portraying. The course is being offered for teens who have been using Marijuana and/or is vaping. We offer an initial evaluation to see if the teenage is eligible for the course. As a counselor, I am seeing an increase use of Marijuana in teenagers. In the past two years, I have seen an increase of students being reprimanded for vaping in school. I believe as a community we need to educate our future generation on the side effects of what long term use of Marijuana and vaping can cause. The course is being offered one time a month from 10 am to 12 pm on Saturday at our office in Sandy Springs. I am available to answer any questions you might have regarding the course. January 25 is the next class.
